A house fire in Boarded Hall, Christ Church, has left 78-year-old Samuel Alleyne with severe burns.
The fire occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, at a two-story building where Alleyne resided.
Local residents rescued him from the flames, and he was later transported by ambulance for urgent medical attention after suffering burns to 90% of his body.
Fire service personnel responded quickly and extinguished the fire.
Investigations into the cause of the blaze are ongoing.
