A house fire at Boarded Hall, Christ Church, Saturday night left 78-year-old Samuel Alleyne with burns to 90 per cent of his body, police say.
The fire happened around 8:30 p.m. and Alleyne was rescued by residents in the area.
He was transported to hospital for urgent medical attention.
Fire service personnel responded and extinguished the fire.
Investigations are ongoing.
