Murder accused Kishon Lemar Anderson Thomas told police Baggio Boxill ordered him to take the rap for killing Colleen Payne, even though he had nothing to do with it, because he [Thomas] had a better chance of “getting out of prison”.
The accused further said he was told his girlfriend would be kidnapped if he did not comply.
However, said Station Sergeant Jerry Carter, the accused later admitted he decided to “pull the robbery” because his “mind just tell him to go”.
Carter was testifying in Thomas’ murder trial in the No. 3 Supreme Court yesterday.
