The man charged in connection with the attack on pensioner Jeffrey Barrow along Belmont Road, St Michael, earlier this month is appearing in court today.
He is Jaquan Stoute, 28 years, of Marl Hole Gap, Halls Road, St Michael.
He is charged with inflicting serious bodily harm and robbery.
