Winston Benjamin defeated strong competition on the pool table to claim top honours at the Casablanca 12000 Open June Edition.
Hosted by Cue Sports Barbados on June 27-29 at REO Billiards and Sports Lounge, Casablanca 12000 showcased the talent and skill of local pool players in a keenly contested event featuring 31 participants.
Renny Hitlal finished second, while Kyle Goddard took third. Tricia King secured fourth place overall and was also recognised as the best-performing female player, earning the payout for furthest-advancing woman in the field.
The series continues with two more tournaments scheduled for August and October, culminating in the grand finale in December. Cue Sports Barbados says the series aims to grow the sport and provide a consistent platform for local players to test their skills competitively.
