WWE superstar Hulk Hogan dies at 71

World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Hulk Hogan, one of the most iconic figures in professional wrestling history, has died at the age of 71.

The wrestling legend, born Terry Gene Bollea, passed away at his home in Clearwater, Florida, early Thursday morning following cardiac arrest.

Hogan rose to international fame in the 1980s as the face of WWE’s Hulkamania era, captivating fans with his charisma, power, and unforgettable presence in the ring.

A six-time WWE Champion and two-time WWE Hall of Fame inductee, Hogan catapulted professional wrestling into mainstream pop culture.

He headlined multiple WrestleMania events, starred in films and television shows, and became a household name around the globe.

WWE issued a statement mourning the loss of one of its greatest-ever superstars, calling him “a pop culture icon and larger-than-life personality who inspired generations of fans.”

Hogan is survived by his wife, Sky Daily and two children, Brooke and Nick.
