Police have arrested and formally charged 25-year-old Devene Rhanelda Gale-Forde of Inch Marlow, Christ Church, with firearm and ammunition offences.
The charges stem from incidents in District ‘B’ on August 26, where Gale-Forde was accused of possession of a firearm without a valid licence and possession of 16 rounds of ammunition.
He was also charged in Oistins on August 27, with possession of one round of ammunition.
Gale-Forde appeared before Magistrate Bernadette John in the District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court earlier today.
He was not required to plead to the indictable offences and was remanded to the Barbados Prison Service until Wednesday, September 24.
The Oistins matter was transferred to the Oistins Magistrates’ Court for hearing on Wednesday, September 3.
