The Barbados Police Service has arrested Andre O’Shane Williams, 36, of Howell Content, York Town, Maypen South West, Clarendon, Jamaica.
He was charged with possession of cannabis, trafficking of cannabis, intent to supply, and importation of cannabis. Authorities said the total estimated weight of the cannabis was 2.60 kilograms, with an estimated street value of $20,800 BDS.
Williams appeared before Magistrate Douglas Fedricks in District ‘B’ Magistrates’ Court earlier today. He pleaded guilty to all charges.
He was fined $15,000 BDS, payable immediately, or in default, nine months at the Barbados Prison Service in Dodds.
