
The Barbados Police Service has arrested and formally charged Chad Roosevelt Elija Chase, 30, of #137 6th Avenue, West Terrace, St. James, with multiple drug offences committed on January 23.

Chase was charged with possession, trafficking and intent to supply cannabis, as well as possession, trafficking and intent to supply cocaine.
Police said the suspected cannabis weighed 21 grams with an estimated street value of $105 Bds, while the suspected cocaine weighed 1.7 grams with an estimated street value of $85 Bds.
He appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District ‘A’ Traffic Court earlier today, where he pleaded guilty to the offences.
He was fined $2,000 Bds, to be paid within two months, or face three months’ imprisonment at the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds).
