A High Court judge has chastised a young man for finding himself in a situation where he must pay a gun fine – money that could have been a down-payment on a car or a house.
Justice Pamela Beckles was speaking as she dealt with 24-yearold Reshawn Renaldo Rogers, who was back in the No. 5 Supreme Court yesterday.
Rogers, of Neptune Road, Deacons Farm, St Michael, had pleaded guilty, at a previous Session of the Continuous Sittings to having a .45-calibre Glock semi-automatic pistol and 13 rounds of ammunition on July 26, 2022.
He was represented by attorney Kristen Vanderpool, while Senior State Counsel Kevin Forde prosecuted the matter.
