Zulu International has promised to deliver a “true Crop Over experience” as the band marks a decade on the road this festival season.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Nadesha Fagan made the pledge during the band’s costume reveal and inaugural pre-Crop Over garden party event Toast on Sunday, describing the milestone as a proud moment for the organisation.
“Zulu is celebrating 10 years this season, and it’s really a proud moment for us. What started as a vision has grown into a band known for energy, vibes, and a true Crop Over experience,” Fagan said.
She explained that this year’s theme ‘New Dawn’, reflects both the band’s growth and a wider cultural evolution.
“This year our theme is New Dawn, which represents growth, evolution, and stepping into a new era not just for Zulu, but for our culture as well,” she noted.
Fagan added that revellers can expect significant upgrades this season, from costume design to overall service and atmosphere on the road.
“Revelers can expect an elevated experience across the board — stunning costumes, better service, and an unforgettable road vibe. We’re really going all out to make this year special.
“So whether it’s your first time or you’ve been with us before, Zulu is definitely the place to be this Crop Over,” Fagan said.
The band will feature five sections this year: Diamonds, Kalinago, Emerald, Zulu, and Flora.
