Four men charged in connection with a major drug and firearms investigation appeared in court on Saturday, after police seized nearly half a tonne of cannabis with an estimated street value of over three million dollars.
Kyle Xavier Bailey, 23, of Claybury, St John; Jamal Tyrone Agard, 34, of Philips Road, Cleavers Hill, St Joseph; Marlon Dale Romario Reid, 26, of Claybury, St John; and Dashon Kobi Inniss, 23, of Branchbury, St Joseph, appeared before Magistrate Alison Burke in the District βAβ Traffic Court on Saturday in connection with offences allegedly committed on April 25.
Bailey, Agard, Reid and Inniss were jointly charged with possession of cannabis, possession of cannabis with intent to supply, trafficking cannabis, possession of three firearms and possession of 12 rounds of ammunition.
Reid was also separately charged with possession of a firearm and possession of 17 rounds of ammunition.
Police said the total estimated weight of the suspected cannabis was 499.15 kilogrammes, with an estimated street value of $3 494 050.
The accused were not required to plead, as the offences are indictable. They were remanded to the Barbados Prison Service (Dodds).
The matters have been transferred to the District βFβ/Belleplaine Court for May 18, 2026.
