Jury hears ammunition case against St Philip man

A nine-member jury is hearing evidence in the case of a St Philip man accused of unlawfully possessing more than 40 rounds of ammunition.

Troy Donovan Ince, now 48, of Nursery, Four Roads, St Philip, pleaded not guilty to having 45 rounds of 5.56 ammunition in his possession without a valid permit on October 25, 2023.

Principal State Counsel Joyann Catwell and State Counsel Treann Knight are prosecuting the case, while defence attorneys Marlon Gordon and Jeremy Bowen represent Ince.

Five men and four women are hearing evidence in the trial, which is being presided over by Justice Anthony Blackman in the No. 3A Supreme Court.
