That tactic, said Justice Carlisle Greaves, will help tackle the “gun scourge” that is plaguing the island.
“We have to get into a culture – hit fast and hard – and I guarantee you this gun scourge will run away.”
He made the comments yesterday as he expressed displeasure with the time it took for Sheraldon Omar Williams-Cadogan’s gun matter to get to the High Court.
Cadogan, 44, of Hinkson Gap, Black Rock, St Michael, was arraigned with, and pleaded not guilty to, having a .32 Magnum calibre revolver, three rounds of ammunition, as well as an explosive device – a flash bang grenade – in his possession on July 11, 2024.
