Last year’s runners-up, Arthur Smith, were among the day’s biggest winners as the BICO National Sports Council Primary School Football Competition continued on Thursday.
Playing in the Ricardo Mickey Gibson Zone at Briar Hall, Christ Church, they demolished St Lawrence Primary 8-0.
In more action from that zone, People’s Cathedral and St Christopher drew 1-1, while St Gabriel’s thumped Shirley Chisholm 6-2.
In Speightstown in the Edward Smith/Frank Holder Zone, All Saints defeated Gordon Greenidge 2-0, while Roland Edwards had a 2-1 win over St Lucy Primary.
At Shorey Village in St Andrew, play in the Dennis Leacock Zone saw Hillaby Turner’s Hall defeat St Joseph Primary 4-1. Grantley Prescod had a similar margin of victory over St Bernards, while Providence were also in winners’ row, as they defeated St Margaret’s 2-0
Three games kicked off in the Kenville Kab Layne Zone at Greens St George, with Hits 106.7 Bay Primary crushing St Luke’s Brighton 10-0, while
Cuthbert Moore stopped Mount Tabor 1-0.
