Defending champions West Terrace unbeaten in NSC/BICO Football Competition

West Terrace continued their dominant title defence with another emphatic performance as the National Sports Council/BICO Primary School Football competition continued on Tuesday.

Competing in the Dane Alleyne Zone at Orange Hill, the defending champions overwhelmed St Matthew’s Primary 7-0. In other matches in the zone, Welches and St Albans battled to a 2-2 draw, while Sharon edged Good Shepherd 1-0.

The biggest win of the day came in the Reginald Haynes/Victor Gas Clarke Zone at Blenheim, where hosts St Giles capitalised on home advantage to thrash St Patrick’s Roman Catholic School 9-0.

Meanwhile St Paul’s Primary defeated Charles F Broome Memorial 3-1, St Cyprians stopped George Lamming 2-0 and St Ambrose lost 3-0 to Luther Thorne Memorial. The remaining game in that zone was a 1-1 draw between Belmont Primary and Wilkie Cumberbatch.

 

Schools in the Keith Grell Griffith Zone ensured all their games ended in outright results.

 

Wesley Hall defeated St Mary’s Primary 1-0, Grazettes eased to a 4-1 victory over  Lawrence T Gay Memorial and Al Falah edged Trinity Academy 1-0. 

Westbury lost 1-0 to Deacons, while Eden Lodge defeated Eagle Hall 1-0.

 

The goals flowed during the three games in the Adrian Donovan/Michael Foster Zone at King George V Park.

 

St Mark’s eased past St Martin’s Mangrove 4-0, Hilda Skeene trounced 

St Catherine’s Primary 6-0 and Reynold Weekes defeated Bayley’s 2-0.
