Police have identified the victim in Friday morning’s fatal shooting at Martins Road, Pinelands, St Michael, as 30-year-old Darius Anthony Perch of Maple Path, Pinelands.
According to police, Perch was sitting in a motor car outside a residence around 9:40 a.m. when an assailant discharged several gunshots, injuring him.
Ambulance personnel responded to the scene and found no signs of life. A medical doctor later pronounced death.
Police at District ‘A’ Station are continuing investigations and are appealing to anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477, Police Emergency at 211, or District ‘A’ Police Station at 430-7242 or 430-7246.
