A St Michael man has pleaded not guilty to serious bodily harm charges dating back to 2015, with the case set for trial next year.
Adrian Anderson Alleyne of Station Hill, St Michael, appeared in the No. 5 Supreme Court before Justice Pamela Beckles and denied that on September 5, 2015, he did serious bodily harm to Akeel Blades with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him or do some serious bodily harm to him. He also pleaded not guilty to unlawfully and maliciously inflicting serious bodily harm to Blades on the same date.
Justice Beckles adjourned the case until January 26, 2027, for trial.
Senior State Counsel Maya Kellman is prosecuting, while the accused is self-represented.
