Two Christ Church men have pleaded not guilty to firearm and ammunition offences, with the matter set for trial in September.
Xenico Oneal Moore of Vauxhall, Christ Church, and Rashawn Jaier Kangal of McClean’s Gap, Silver Sands, Christ Church, pleaded not guilty to having a Glock 17 Gen5 9mm Luger calibre semi-automatic pistol and 34 rounds of ammunition on November 2, 2024. They were arraigned before Justice Laurie-Ann Smith-Bovell.
Moore also denied a separate charge of having 24 rounds of ammunition without a permit on the same date.
Justice Smith-Bovell adjourned the hearing for trial on September 28.
