The Barbados Police Service has arrested and charged Miguel Rico Ranaldo Daniel, 34, of Thornbury Hill, Christ Church, in connection with the escape of prisoner Tyrese Farrell.
Daniel was charged by the Serious Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) with assisting an offender, as well as failing to stop at the sound of a siren, driving without due care and attention and driving without reasonable consideration for other road users.
The offences were committed on August 16, according to police.
Daniel is scheduled to appear in the Oistins Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, August 19.
