Fast bowler Joshua James made a huge impact with three crucial wickets as he bowled Antigua and Barbuda Falcons to victory by 30 runs over Barbados Tridents in a tense battle in the Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League on Tuesday night.
The towering six-footer had back to back wickets of Kevlon Anderson and Sherfane Rutherford to amazing catches on the boundary by Shamar Springer and Anderson Phillip.
James later added the scalp of Daniel Sams to end with three wickets for 18 runs off three overs and took home the Man of the Match award.
Barbados made 125 off 18 overs in reply to 155-5 off 20 overs by the home side at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
The result took the Falcons back to the top of the points table with eight from seven matches. The Tridents suffered their first defeat of the season and have fours points from three matches.
