Two days after surrendering their first points of the season, table leaders Paradise returned to winning ways in the Barbados Football Association’s Kotex Women’s League.
Playing at the Wildey Technical Centre on Tuesday, Paradise defeated fourth-placed Technique 5-0.
Acacia Small opened the scoring for Paradise in the 26th minute before doubling their lead in the 35th.

The Barbados international attacker was on target once again in the 59th minute, as Technique struggled to come to grips with their opponents’ intensity.
Shanice Stevenson made it 4-0 to Paradise in the 68th minute, with Solange Holford completing the shutout with a goal in the 82nd minute.
The result moved Paradise to 22 points at the top of the table, with RF Prime second on 18 and Empire third with 16 points. Technique remain fourth on 12 points.
The comprehensive victory for Paradise came after the Dover-based team was held to a 2-2 draw by Empire on Sunday, August 30.
Women’s League action continues on Saturday at Wildey, as fifth-placed Mavericks oppose bottom-of-the-table Whitehall, while seventh-placed FVFC Femeni tackle sixth-placed Police. (KH)
