Barbados Tridents were roughed up and left Warner Park bruised, battered and beaten by St Kitts and Nevis Patriots who produced a stunning batting assault.
The home side chased down an imposing target of 218 against the Tridents to seal a remarkable six-wicket victory and keep their 2026 Republic Bank Caribbean Premier League (CPL) campaign alive.
Tuesday night’s result was a third consecutive defeat for the visitors and has raised alarm bells as their record now stands at three losses and two wins.
The contest had almost everything – 32 massive sixes and 29 sizzling fours, a century, simple dropped chances and stunning catches.
Added to these was a major umpiring controversy which sparked tremendous reaction on and off the field and attracted some strong comments from the captains after the match.
