When she appeared before Magistrate Ketha Ellis in the District “B” Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, Monique Annmarie McLean, of Beckwith Street, The City, denied that on August 29, with the intention of assisting Keneil Wilson to enter Barbados, she uttered a fabricated Barbados Identification Card in the name Monique Annmarie McLean, bearing the national registration number 010292 – 7001.
Constable Dereck Pitt did not object to bail for the accused woman but asked that the court order McLean to surrender all of her travel documents and report to a police station once a week.
The accused woman’s attorney, Senior Counsel Angella Mitchell-Gittens, informed the court that her client’s travel documents were already in the custody of the police.
Magistrate Ellis released McLean on $2 500 bail and adjourned the mater until December 7.
