Customs services at Terminal II of the Grantley Adams International Airport have resumed following the restoration of telecommunications service.

The Barbados Customs and Excise Department said connectivity to the terminal was restored after its service provider resolved the outage that disrupted operations.

Terminal II is now processing payments and clearing cargo as usual.

The department thanked members of the public for their patience and understanding during the disruption.
