Police are on the scene of a serious accident along Windsor Road, Christ Church, where a child was struck by a vehicle.
Police have not provided any information on the condition of the child.
The road is impassable at this time and police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
Traffic is being diverted at the Brereton / Little Bentley junction along Highway 5 for road users travelling west toward Windsor.
Motorists travelling east will be diverted at the Brighton Road / Lower Greys / Windsor Road junction just west of the scene of the accident.
