West Indies selectors have thrown the dice as they prepare to tackle India in the upcoming Test series.
Left-handed batters Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Alick Athanaze have been recalled while left-arm spinner Khary Pierre received his maiden call-up in a bid to topple the home side in what is expected to be a challenging two-match Test.

As expected, former captain Kraigg Brathwaite has been omitted from the 15-member touring squad.
Chanderpaul is likely to partner fellow left-hander John Campbell at the top of the order. The 29-year-old Chanderpaul is returning after 18 months in the wilderness and with a batting average of 32.9 in ten Test matches, he is the only specialist batter in the group with an average of over 30 runs over innings in Tests.
