Barbadian star Thierry Gale enjoyed his finest day as a Bolton Wanderers player since his summer move as he helped them to a 4-1 victory over rivals Wigan Athletic in the English Football League One.
Gale was in ripping form on Saturday as he produced the opener inside a quarter of an hour, latching onto a loose ball inside the box and smashing into the top corner.
The 23-year-old, regarded as the best Barbadian footballer of recent times, then turned provider to set up Middlesbrough loanee Marcus Forss for his first of two goals at the Toughsheet stadium.
Bolton led 3-0 at halftime, when Mason Burstow, on loan from Hull, conjured up a shot that was unstoppable.
Forss then got his second in the 50th minute before Paul Mullin gave Wigan consolation with a goal four minutes later.
