The countdown is on for Beach Cricket Blast 2026, with Carlisle Bay set to become the centre of cricketing action, community engagement and entertainment from September 11to 13.
Delivered by Cricket Impact Group, the three-day festival will bring together cricket personalities, content creators, corporate participants, community partners and fans for a unique beach cricket experience designed to connect new audiences with the game.
The event gets underway on Friday, with the RBC Community Blast, welcoming 250 students from 12 primary schools across Barbados for a morning of cricket activities, skills challenges, prizes and interactive experiences designed to create positive first connections with the sport.
The opening day programme will also introduce the new VTEX Skillz Challenge, an entertaining head-to-head contest that pits six international content creators and influencers against a team of seven Barbados-based influencers and public figures in a battle for island bragging rights.
Designed to showcase skill, athleticism and personality, the challenge will see competitors face off across six beach-inspired events, including Battle of the Bats, Ocean Slip, Sky High Sand Catch, Ocean Bowl Off, Five in the Bucket and The Final Over. With Team Barbados defending home turf against a Rest of the World line-up, organisers expect the VTEX Skillz Challenge to deliver one of the most entertaining and engaging spectacles of the weekend.
At the heart of Beach Cricket Blast 2026 will be six teams competing for the title across two days of fast-paced beach cricket action. Returning teams Deloitte, runners-up in 2025, Guardian Life and Republic Bank will be looking to build on their previous campaigns, while newcomers RBC, the MVPz Content Creator All-Stars and Barmy Army bring fresh energy and new storylines to this year’s tournament.
