The 2024 BFA Guardian Group Youth Football Tournament has officially been launched, continuing the partnership between the Barbados Football Association (BFA) and Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited. This annual competition, which supports the development of Under-9 to Under-17 Boys and Mixed teams, plays a vital role in fostering young football talent across the island. Guardian Life has once again reaffirmed its commitment to the tournament, providing essential financial backing for the event’s operational needs.
BFA general secretary, Ashley Scott-Williams, expressed deep gratitude for Guardian Life’s unwavering support of both the association and youth football in Barbados. “The BFA remains committed to providing young boys and girls from every community with the opportunity to play and enhance their footballing skills,” Scott-Williams stated. “To achieve this, partnerships with corporate entities like Guardian Life are crucial.
