Government has been trying to “take back our streets” from criminals since 2018 and the Interception of Communications Bill, 2025, is just one of the latest measures being used in this effort.

Leading off debate on the legislation, Cummins said Barbadians were unanimous with their worry about crime, concerns she acknowledged were legitimate and which Government were trying to resolve.
