The Barbados Meteorological Services (BMS) continues to monitor a tropical wave located east of Barbados in the central Atlantic.
The system is expected to affect Barbados and the eastern Caribbean around the middle of next week.
BMS noted that there are currently no watches or warnings in effect for the island.
The wave has a broad area of low pressure and continues to produce disorganized convection, with model guidance indicating a decreasing chance of development.
The public is encouraged to monitor BMS, DEM, and GIS websites, their social media pages, and local media for updates. The agency will continue to track the system closely.
This statement, issued at noon on Saturday today, is the final update on this system. (BMS)
