An increase in corporate holiday staff parties and awards ceremonies has kept several artistes busy over the Yuletide season.
And as they prepare to perform at some of the Old Year’s Night and New Year’s Day events, they are hoping that momentum continues well into 2025.
Ruel Ward, chief executive officer of Pyramid Entertainment Management Inc., which manages Barbadian artistes such as Lil Rick and Peter Ram, was one of the entertainment industry stakeholders who gave that assessment.
“There are a certain set of holiday parties that have artistes performing and we were fortunate to have been booked for quite a few of the staff awards and Christmas parties.
“Some nights we had five to six events, so it was a good season; we can’t complain,” he told the Saturday Sun yesterday. (TG)
