A High Court judge is set to sum up the case of a St Thomas man accused of murder before handing it to the jury for deliberation.
Justice Laurie-Ann Smith-Bovell is expected to deliver her summation on Tuesday in the murder trial of Roger Delisle Sealy, of Airy Cot, St Thomas, who has pleaded not guilty to murdering Samara Bristol between November 16 and 21, 2021.
Acting Director of Public Prosecutions Alliston Seale SC, State Counsel Paul Prescod and defence attorney Sian Lange delivered closing arguments to the 12-member jury and two alternates who have been hearing the evidence over the past three weeks in the No. 4 Supreme Court.
Following the summation, the trial will be handed over to the jury for a verdict.
Bristol’s body was found in a bushy area near the Mangrove dump in St Thomas.
