Conductor granted bail on serious bodily harm charge

A St Lucy conductor accused of seriously injuring another man was granted $4 000 bail after appearing in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court last Thursday.

No plea was taken from Ranaldo Rasheed Griffith, 26, of Rockfield, who appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.

Griffith is accused of causing serious bodily harm to Thomas Ramsey on August 6, with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him.

He was not required to enter a plea to the indictable charge.

Griffith was released on $4 000 bail, after the prosecutor put forward no objections, and he was told to stay away from the complainant.
