
The drug matters involving Jhonny Hernan Garcia Pacheco were adjourned until next week when he appeared in the No. 5 Supreme Court yesterday.
His co-accused will also be back on that date.
Pacheco, from Colombia, had previously admitted having 54.85 kilogrammes of cannabis in his possession; that he had a traffickable quantity of the drug and that he imported it on December 23, 2021.
He also pleaded guilty to having 574.5 kilogrammes of cocaine; having a traffickable quantity of cocaine and importing cocaine, as well as importing and having 132 rounds of ammunition on the same date.
He was represented by attorney Sian Lange.
Meanwhile, David Guiza Vargas, also from Colombia, is accused of having 54.85 kilogrammes of cannabis, having a traffickable quantity of the drug and importing it on December 23, 2021.
He is also accused of having 574.75 kilogrammes of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine and importing it, as well as importing 132 rounds of ammunition without a valid permit on the same date.
Justice Pamela Beckles adjourned the matters until July 7. (HLE)
