International Soca artist Hypasounds is set to bring the vibrant sounds of the Caribbean to Bali Carnival this September, performing at the festival’s 2025 edition.
Continuing his highly successful global tour with performances this year across Europe, the USA, and Canada, Hypasounds is expanding his international footprint and taking Soca music to new audiences and stages around the world. Bali, Indonesia marks the latest stop on a whirlwind year that has cemented his status as one of Soca’s leading global icons.
2025 has already been a standout year for Hypasounds, following an impactful Crop Over season with the feel-good anthem Happy (off the Full Mood Riddim, produced by his own label Boommuzik), the smooth Perfect Man, and the much-requested collaboration No Hard Feelings. These tracks have been lighting up fetes and Carnivals worldwide, helping to build the anticipation for his Bali debut.
Also known for fan favourites such as Sugar Rush, Dutti, How She Like It, Roll It, and Fair Sa, Hypasounds is celebrated for delivering high-energy, interactive shows that reflect his dual Barbadian and St. Lucian heritage. His Bali Carnival performance promises to be an unforgettable celebration of music and his official entry into an exciting new market.
“Carnival is about bringing people together, no matter where you’re from,” said Hypasounds. “I’m excited to share the joy and energy of Soca with the people of Bali, it’s going to be a week to remember.”
Bali Carnival 2025 will feature a diverse lineup of acts, with Hypasounds’ set expected to be one of the festival’s most anticipated highlights.
Bali Carnival takes place from September 25th – 28th, 2025. It is Southeast Asia’s first full-scale Caribbean-style carnival. You can buy tickets from www.balicarnival.com.
