Motorists will see a slight reduction in fuel prices at the pump from midnight tonight, Sunday, July 6, as adjustments take effect for gasoline and diesel.
According to a statement issued by Government, gasoline will now retail at BDS $3.92 per litre, down by one cent, while diesel will be sold at $3.22 per litre, reflecting a decrease of five cents.
The price of kerosene remains unchanged at $1.27 per litre.
There have also been adjustments to the cost of liquified petroleum gas (LPG). The new prices are as follows: a 100-pound cylinder will now cost $173.53, the 25-pound cylinder $48.48, the 22-pound cylinder $42.83, and the 20-pound cylinder $38.94.
These price changes are in line with Government’s policy of reviewing and adjusting petroleum product prices on a monthly basis. (SA/BGIS)
