
All the submissions are completed and the grandfather, who was found guilty of disposing of his granddaughter’s body over 20 years ago, will find out his sentence when he reappears in the No. 4A Supreme Court next week.

Winfield Nurse, 80, of Accommodation Road, Bush Hall, St Michael, was found guilty of unlawfully disposing of his 12-year-old granddaughter Rasheeda Bascombe’s body, between January 2, 2002, and May 30, 2013.
He is being represented by attorney Lennox Miller, while Principal State Counsel Olivia Davis, State Counsel Tito Holder and Senior State Counsel Anastacia McMeo-Boyce are prosecuting.
Justice Donna Babb-Agard set March 24 as the date for her sentence. Nurse remains on remand at Dodds Prison.
