‘I was on cocaine and wanted something to eat’

The pre-sentencing report is still outstanding and, as a result, Robert Ricardo Neblett had his matter adjourned when he reappeared in the No 4 Supreme Court yesterday.

Neblett, of 2nd Avenue, Thomas Gap, President Kennedy Drive, St Michael, had pleaded guilty, at an earlier Session of the Continuous Sittings, to entering Drip Drip Boutique, between October 29 and 30, 2020, and stealing 54 pants, 62 shirts, ten suits, ten women’s top and bottom sets, one cash pan, a Digicel router, a Samsung tablet and $1 012 belonging to Monee Hope.

Senior State Counsel Paul Prescod and Senior State Counsel Maya Kellman prosecuted the matter.

The convicted man was represented by attorney Suthany Hall.
