“Each ICE keeps getting better than the last for me,” said one patron, perfectly summing up the mood at this year’s ICE All White Breakfast Party: ICY Elegance.
Once again, on Boxing Day morning, the event was epic, giving patrons an all-out celebration of entertainment, style and pure vibes. ICE reminded patrons why it is the place to be the morning after Christmas Day.
There was non-stop partying.
From 6 a.m. until around 2 p.m., hundreds of partygoers dressed in white took over the sprawling Sandalwood Estate, Hothersall Turning, St Michael, dancing non-stop as ICE delivered another unforgettable sunrise-to-afternoon experience.
The crowd was spread out across the expansive venue, flowing from the bars, food court, cabanas and dance area. By 9 a.m., with the blistering sun in full effect, patrons cleverly claimed every bit of shade they could find, creating their own chill zone.
Food lovers were well taken care of with a variety of tasty breakfast and brunch options available throughout the morning, while every bar saw constant traffic as patrons refreshed their cups and headed straight back to the action. ICE-branded fans and cups became essential accessories, with patrons proudly waving them as the party rolled on.
Adding extra flair to the experience were stylish touches like Trident Cigars, Argyle Hookahs, a 360-photo booth, and the always-popular ICY ELEGANCE branded photo area, which stayed busy all day with groups striking poses and capturing memories.
The DJ lineup featured Ramon G, Indian & Chris Gale, Jerry Dan, Thorny & Punn, Bubbles & Evolution, (RAW Gas) Sheldon Papp and Chasey, Surf Rat & Menace, DJ Niqo Vibes & Gunner, before Ras brought the curtains down. Each selector added their own flavour, keeping the energy fresh with patrons responding accordingly.
Even the entertainers had a blast while offstage.
Live performances lifted the party spirit even higher. Weather 40 had the feters singing along when he dropped his big hit Brawlin’ while Mole ignited the crowd.
But it was Lil Rick who truly stole the show, delivering his trademark high-energy performance, rolling effortlessly from his classic 90s dub-chanting anthems straight into modern-day soca, leaving the crowd in a frenzy.
“This is hands down the best Boxing Day event. Great music, great people, and space to really enjoy yourself; a truly VIP experience. No long lines, no long wait to be served. Me and my crew had a truly great time,” one patron said when asked.
Another added: “From the DJs to Lil Rick to the whole setup . . . this was vibes from start to finish. This is my first time, and I didn’t want it to end. I’ll be back again next year for sure.”
It was all smiles at ICY Elegance.
Reflecting on the event’s success, the ICE Events246 team said: “ICY Elegance is about creating an event where people could feel free, have fun, link with friends and fully enjoy Boxing Day. Seeing the crowd partying, laughing, simply having a blast and then staying with us from sunrise to afternoon; all of that makes it worth it.”
Hosts DJ Chasey and Courtney kept the energy high and the crowd fully engaged.
