L&R United blanked Central League Spartans 3-0, as action continued in Zone D of the Barbados Football Association’s Division Two Competition.
That result saw them move on to 32 points at the top of the table, which is well clear of second-placed Ivy Rovers, who advanced to 26 points, following a 2-1 win over Orange Hill.
Kings Park Rangers are now fourth on 14 points and two points shy of third placed Youth Milan, who they beat 4-1
The Zone A points table is much tighter. Atlas United thrashed Maxwell 7-0, but with 27 points, they are just one ahead of second-placed Chickmont FC, who were held to a goalless draw by United Stars Alliance.
Fourth -laced Glebe now have 17 points, following a 5-2 victory over Hothersal Turning, while Martindale’s Road edged Lodge Road 1-0, to move to third, also on 17 points.
