Man charged with multiple offences

Kedwin Stephan Clarke was sentenced to 24 months in Dodds Prison when he appeared before Magistrate Manilla Renee in the District ‘A’ Criminal Court #2 on Friday.

Clarke, 30, of Ricks Road, Thorpes, St James, was facing a number of charges in the Holetown, St James; in District “A” and District D jurisdictions.

He pleaded guilty to theft – Meschach Thornhill between June 23 and 24; theft – Alicia Clarke June 23 and 24, and separate charges of criminal damage to Jamila Thornhill and Tonya Paul between June 27 and 28. These matters were all in District “A”.

Clarke was not required to plead to the other charges which include:

Holetown

●        Aggravated Burglary – Cynthia Osbourne on the June 5th, 2025

●        Burglary – Safara Benskin on the June 21st, 2025

●        Theft – Phyllis Worrell between the June 26th and 27th, 2025

●        Criminal Damage – Wayne Benskin on the June 21st, 2025

●        Criminal Damage – Shawn Foster between the June 26th and 27th, 2025

●        Criminal Damage – Colvin Brathwaite between the July 4th and 5th, 2025

●        Criminal Damage – Betty Brathwaite between the July 4th and 5th, 2025

●        Criminal Damage – Diamond Linton between the July 4th and 5th, 2025

●        Criminal Damage – Christian Charles on the July 4th, 2025

District ‘D’

●        Criminal Damage – Troy Moore on the July 3rd , 2025

These matters were transferred to the Holetown Magistrates Court on Tuesday, July 15 and District ‘D’ Magistrates Court on Wednesday, July 16, 2025. (PR/SAT)
