Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 12-year-old Tylah Shamiyah Faith Carter of Lot 22, Shop Hill, St. Thomas, who has been reported missing.
The Lester Vaughan Secondary School student was last seen around 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. She has not been seen or heard from since.
Tylah is described as being five feet six inches tall, of dark complexion and slim build. She wears her hair in singles styled into a bun and has an oval face, small brown eyes, thick eyebrows, a small nose, thick lips, and a broad smile with a pointed chin. Her ears are pierced once, and she has an erect posture with thick legs and calves. She is known to be soft-spoken and pleasant in manner.
At the time of her disappearance, Tylah was dressed in her school uniform, which consists of a white top, green overalls, and black shoes.
