Nelson Street man denies wounding charge

Bail has been set at $5 000 for a Nelson Street man accused of wounding and using threatening words.

Simeon Ricardo Thorne, 44, of Queen’s Street, appeared before Magistrate Jared Richards and denied using threatening words ‘I will shoot you’ towards Paul Marshall. He also pleaded not guilty to unlawfully and maliciously wounding Marshall.

Both offences allegedly occurred on September 9.

Thorne, who is represented by attorney Marlon Gordon, will return to the District ‘A’ Traffic Court on January 11.
