RISE Barbados today announces the addition of breakout Barbadian soca artist Tionne Hernandez to the star-studded cast of its highly anticipated Crop Over event, RISE Wednesday. The ultimate Crop Over week party is set to ignite the stage at the iconic Kensington Oval on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Hernandez, who has captured the airwaves and fete circuit with her infectious hit “Capture,” brings fresh and dynamic energy to an already massive lineup of regional soca royalty. Her inclusion underscores the RISE commitment to showcasing both legendary icons and the next generation of Barbadian talent.

The full artist roster for RISE Wednesday includes from Trinidad and Tobago: The legendary Kes the Band celebrating 20 years, the fiery Lady Lava ‘Queen of Steam’, and the dynamic duo Full Blown; with Blessings from Grenada: The energetic soca artist Blaka, St. Vincent and the Grenadines: The high-voltage RISE general at this point Skinny Fabulous and from Barbados: soca royalty, the Soca Queen, Alison Hinds, and rising star Tionne Hernandez.
RISE Wednesday is a cornerstone event of the Crop Over festival, known for its premium production, exhilarating atmosphere, and a lineup that celebrates the best of Caribbean music. Held annually on the ultimate Wednesday of the Crop Over festival dubbed Crop Over Week RISE Wednesday fall on July 30th this year and will be held at the iconic Kensington Oval.
