Reports that a route taxi transporting students of The Lester Vaughan School overturned just outside the school.
Police, two ambulances and the fire service are on the scene at Cane Garden, St Thomas.
A number of students and passengers are said to be injured.
The Nation understands the incident has triggered a mass casualty response.
