One of two men who were shot in St Michael on Saturday has died, police say.
Around 2:45 p.m., police responded to a report of two men being shot at a Hilton Row, Princess Royal Avenue address.
Police said the men, ages 31 and 36, were in the backyard of a residence watching television when gunshots were heard.
One man was shot in his head and arm while the other was shot in his leg. They were both transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in privately-owned vehicles.
Late Saturday evening police said the 31-year-old died while undergoing treatment at the QEH.
Police say his identity is being withheld until family members have been notified.
The investigation is ongoing.
