The man who was shot and killed at Silver Hill, Christ Church on Tuesday night was identified as Toryan Waithe.
The 35 year old from nearby Block 12C Silver Hill Drive, was among a group of people at a business place near the community centre when a lone gunman discharged his weapon.
Waithe died on the spot and his death was pronounced by a medical doctor.
A second man, whose name has not been released, was transported by ambulance personnel to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital to seek urgent medical attention.
