Three men who faced a total of 19 burglary and theft charges were remanded when they appeared in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
Ramon Akeem Quarless, 33, Omar McDonald Sealy, 44, and Mark Anthoneal Prescod, 37, all of whom have no fixed place of abode, were not required to plead to three of the charges – two burglaries and one theft – which were indictable.
Quarless was not required to plead to stealing a marking machine, valued at $12 000, belonging to George Harewood between April 22 and 25 this year.
Prescod, Quarless and Sealy were not required to plead to entering the Blu Room Bar and stealing 126 bottles of brandy, 12 bottles of tequila, 219 bottles of wine, 269 bottles of rum, 247 energy drinks and other drinks, totally valued $32 448, belonging to Kerry-Ann Fowler, between March 16 and 17
this year.
